Overview

Threads is where Trebellar brings your AI conversations together. It serves as a central place to revisit questions you’ve asked, review past insights, and continue exploring your data over time.

Rather than starting from scratch each time, Threads lets you pick up where you left off and go deeper as your questions evolve.

What Is a Thread?

A thread is a saved conversation between you and Trebellar’s AI. Each thread captures the context of your question, the data used to answer it, and any follow-up questions you ask along the way.

Threads help you:

  • Keep related questions and insights together

  • Revisit prior analysis without re-prompting

  • Continue exploring a topic as new questions arise

Starting a Thread

The primary way to start a new thread is from the Home page.

From the Home page:

  • Use Ask Anything to pose a question in natural language

  • Trebellar generates an answer based on your connected data

  • The conversation is automatically saved as a new thread

Threads are created when you ask questions using Ask Anything on the Home page, making it easy to return to longer-running or exploratory conversations later.

You can also start a new thread directly from Threads by clicking the + button next to Threads. This opens a blank conversation where you can begin asking questions immediately.

Once a thread is started, you can continue asking follow-up questions to refine the analysis or explore related topics.

Viewing and Continuing Threads

All of your saved threads appear in the left-hand sidebar in Threads.

Each thread includes:

  • A short title summarizing the conversation

  • An indicator showing how recently the thread was active

Click on any thread to reopen the conversation, review prior responses, or continue asking questions using the same context.

Threads Across the Platform

Threads acts as a central hub for AI-powered conversations across Trebellar.

You may see threads that reflect conversations tied to:

  • Open-ended questions

  • Dashboard-driven analysis

  • Planning and scenario exploration

This allows you to move fluidly between asking questions, reviewing data, and continuing analysis without losing context.

Filtering Threads

If you have a lot of threads, you can filter the list to focus on different types of conversations.

How to filter threads

  1. In the left sidebar, click the filter icon next to Search Threads.

  2. Use the Filter by Type dropdown to choose which threads you want to view.

  3. The thread list updates immediately based on your selection.

Filter options

  • Default Threads
Shows your general AI conversations, including threads started from Ask Anything on the Home page and threads started directly in Threads.

  • Dashboard Threads
Shows threads associated with conversations that originated from Dashboards.

  • All Threads
Shows all available threads across the platform, including conversations that originated in Ask Anything, Threads, Dashboards, Explorer, and Portfolio Planner.

Filtering helps you narrow your view when needed, while All Threads provides a complete picture of your AI-assisted work across Trebellar.

Example Questions You Can Ask

Threads supports a wide range of real estate and workplace questions based on the data you have connected to the platform, including:

  • Attendance
“What will attendance look like next week in New York?"

  • Capacity
“Which buildings are projected to be over capacity this quarter?”

  • Planning
“How does seat supply compare to forecasted headcount?”

  • Leasing
“What lease events should we be planning around next?”

  • Operations
“What OPEX data is available for this building?”

As you ask follow-up questions, Trebellar maintains context so you can dig deeper without restating assumptions.

What’s Next

From Threads, you can continue exploring your data across the platform:

  • Dive deeper into locations using Explorer

  • Move from questions to scenarios in Portfolio Planner

  • Turn insights into shareable outputs using Reports and Dashboards

Threads helps connect quick questions to deeper analysis, planning, and follow-through.
