Account & User Settings

How do I enable Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Trebellar supports standard SSO protocols, including SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect.

To enable SSO for your organization, contact your Trebellar Account Manager or Customer Success team. They will help configure authentication and provisioning based on your identity provider.

How do I add or remove users?

If your organization is not using SSO for user provisioning:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Navigate to Organization → Users

  3. Add, remove, or update users and permissions

Note: Admin privileges are required to manage users.

What user roles are available?

Trebellar currently supports three user roles:

  • Admin: Full access, including user management and system configuration

  • Member: Full product access without permission to edit global settings

  • Guest: Read-only access

All users, regardless of role, can ask questions using Trebellar AI.

Can I restrict access by building, region, or portfolio segment?

Yes. User access can be scoped to specific locations, regions, or subsets of your portfolio.

To configure location-based permissions, contact your Trebellar Account Manager.

Data Sources & Integrations

What types of data can Trebellar bring together?

Trebellar is designed to unify real estate, workplace, people, and experience data in one platform. Common data sources include:

Location & Space

  • Building locations, capacity, square footage

  • Floor capacity, space types (meeting rooms, cafes, etc.)

People & Attendance

  • Badge data (attendance, optional department or worker type segmentation)

  • Employee metadata (department, seniority, employee ID – no names or emails)

Financial & Portfolio

  • Lease data (key dates, rent, non-rent expenses)

  • Operating expenses (OPEX) by category, location, or vendor

Utilization & Experience

  • Occupancy or people count from sensors

  • Meeting room usage (duration, attendee counts)

  • Anonymous surveys (NPS, CSAT, qualitative feedback)

What third-party data does Trebellar provide?

Trebellar enriches your portfolio with trusted third-party data sources, including:

  • Google Maps

  • Weather forecasting services

  • Public office real estate listings

  • U.S. Census data

These sources are commonly used in Explorer, market analysis, and location strategy workflows.

How do I add a new data integration?

Trebellar supports a growing number of integrations through the Trebellar API.

  • View available integrations in Settings

  • If the integration you need is not listed, contact your Trebellar Account Manager

Can I upload data via CSV?

Yes. Trebellar supports CSV uploads for locations, badge data, people data, and more.

Account configuration and onboarding support are included with your subscription. If you need help, contact Trebellar Support.

How does CSV upload work?

To upload CSV data:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select the relevant data type (for example, Badge Data)

  3. Create or select a schema

  4. Upload your file

  5. Match your columns to Trebellar’s default fields

This process allows Trebellar to normalize your data so it can be analyzed consistently across the platform.

How often is data refreshed?

Data refresh frequency in Trebellar is configurable and based on your organization’s preferences, data sources, and use cases.

During onboarding, Trebellar works with your team to define refresh cadences by data type (for example, badge data, people data, or financial data). Refresh schedules may range from near-real-time to daily, weekly, or monthly, depending on system constraints and business needs.

If your requirements change over time, refresh cadences can be adjusted. Contact your Trebellar Account Manager or Customer Success team to review or update your data refresh settings.

What kinds of questions can I ask Trebellar AI?

You can ask questions in natural language across your portfolio, such as:

  • Do we have enough seats in a specific office based on attendance?

  • Which locations are under- or over-utilized?

  • How does employee engagement compare across regions?

  • What locations are performing best when cost, attendance, and experience are considered together?

Trebellar’s AI agents analyze your connected data and return written insights, charts, and recommendations to help you get to a confident decision faster.
